Sirui’s new TC50 + BH-19 is here, a compact camera support system that combines a small tabletop tripod with several other mounting options. The idea is that instead of carrying different accessories for different shooting situations, the TC50 can be used in four different configurations. In its regular tabletop mode, the tripod offers two height settings of approximately 85mm and 127mm, making it useful for things like low-angle photography or situations where a full-sized tripod would be too large. The legs can also be folded together to turn the TC50 into a handheld camera grip. However, using it this way requires a camera cage or another compatible mounting point.

There are also a few less conventional mounting options. One of the tripod legs has a built-in adjustable clamp, allowing the TC50 to be attached directly to a table or another suitable surface up to 50mm thick. The same leg also includes a fold-out hook, which lets you hang the camera from a compatible support point somewhere.

Two of the other tripod legs also have mounting points for accessories, meaning you can attach things like a small microphone or LED light directly to the tripod. The included BH-19 ball head has a 19mm ball diameter, a 22mm base and supports tilting up to 90 degrees in either direction. Its maximum load capacity is 3kg, so it should be able to handle many smaller mirrorless camera setups, although heavier cameras and lenses might not be ideal. The Sirui TC50 + BH-19 is priced at $79.
