OM System Leaked Their Upcoming Lenses?

OM System may have accidentally revealed two upcoming Micro Four Thirds lenses in a video posted on its official YouTube channel. During what was supposed to be a fairly casual conversation about the company’s existing lenses, an OM System employee showed presentation slides featuring two models that have not actually been announced yet, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4.5-5.6 R II and the M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.8 II. Both would be updated versions of lenses that have been around for quite some time, although OM System has not officially confirmed either of them.
As for what is actually changing, the most likely upgrade appears to be IPX1 weather sealing, rather than a completely new optical design. That is the approach OM System has taken with several recent Mark II lenses, including the 17mm f/1.8 II and 25mm f/1.8 II, which received improved dust and splash protection while keeping their original optical formulas. The recently introduced 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 III followed a similar direction, so it would not be particularly surprising to see the same treatment here.
The 45mm f/1.8 originally launched back in 2011 and remains a compact portrait prime with a 90mm full-frame equivalent field of view, while the 40-150mm offers an 80-300mm equivalent range in a relatively small telephoto zoom. For now, though, no specifications, pricing or release dates have been confirmed yet for those two new lenses.
