Zoner Studio’s Summer 2026 Update is here, introducing a range of new tools meant to make day-to-day photo editing and file management a bit more efficient. The biggest addition is a new set of Photo Stacking Tools, bringing things such as focus stacking, panorama stitching, exposure blending, long-exposure effects, animation creation, and moving object removal directly into the software.

First up is focus stacking, which allows you to combine multiple images shot at different focus distances into a single photo with greater depth of field. The update also brings improvements to panorama stitching and exposure blending, with Zoner saying its updated processing is meant to produce more natural-looking results. Additionally, the new Autostack and Detect Stack functions can automatically recognise related image sequences during import and group them together, reducing the amount of manual sorting needed before editing begins.

Photographers working with large image libraries will also find a redesigned search system with expanded metadata filtering and improved archive management tools. Elsewhere, Zoner has introduced a new Smart Healing tool for removing dust spots, blemishes, and other small distractions with less manual retouching. Video creators get access to an expanded built-in music library, while the company has also updated its colour processing pipeline to improve consistency throughout the editing workflow. The Zoner Studio Summer Update 2026 is available now for all users.
