Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

Hey fam. My name is Luke and I'm a Product Designer, Photographer, and Filmmaker from Warsaw, Poland. I take photos of everything, but my passion is street and automotive photography.

What inspired you to become a photographer and how did you start?

I have always been inspired by photography. My father was a photographer, and somehow it worked out that most of the people in my family were involved with photography. As for the specifics, symmetry, night, and long exposures inspire me the most.

The beginning of my adventure with photography was simply the decision to buy a camera and go out to the garden in front of the house. And when it comes to street photography, there was a moment when the pandemic started and I decided that I had to do something new. In March 2020, I went out on the street for the first time.

How did you find your own photography style and what do you think about when you edit your photos?

Creating your own style is something that must be clarified over time. In my case, by trial and error. Style also changes with trends. When it comes to photo editing style, I don't seem to have a specific formula for editing a photo. The most important thing is a good photo straight from the camera, and then I'm only limited by my imagination.

How do you stay inspired and motivated as a photographer, and what do you do when you feel creatively blocked?

I have a rule that I go out at least twice a week. Sometimes it works more often if I don't have other projects. I’m motivated because every week I try to come up with something new that I could create. New photo ideas. New locations. Gear tests. There's a lot of it.

If you catch a creative block, it's best to let it go for a few days. You have to feel the balance. And the best comeback is to do something completely new. Example - if you have never taken photos in the woods. Go to the woods.

What is your favourite photograph that you have ever taken (of those on your IG Page), and why?

The story of this photo is simple. Me and my fiancée went out to take photos and it was just after a heavy rain. Walking down one of the streets we saw a nice big puddle. After taking this pic, we thought it was the best puddle we've ever seen :D

What gear do you use?

My current go-to setup is Sony A7RV + Sony 24mm 1.4 GM + 50mm 1.2 GM + Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG DN. But I have collected many more.

What is your favourite editing software and how much time do you spend editing?

My favorite software is Adobe Lightroom. That's where I started my adventure and I'm not going to change it for anything else.

As for editing, each photo is different and needs more or less time. I always try to start with a preset as a base. And then it's 10 minutes and sometimes it's an hour.

How do you approach shooting in low light situations, and what equipment do you use to achieve the best results?
