Canon just dropped the EOS R50 V, a vlogging-friendly version of the R50. It ditches the viewfinder and built-in flashbut keeps the same 24MP APS-C sensor. The big updates? A front-facing record button, tally light, and a red border on-screen so you always know when you're recording.
It shoots 4K/60p (with a slight crop), 10-bit 422 video, and supports C-Log3 for more colour control. There's also a Product Demo mode that shifts focus from your face to whatever you hold up—perfect for YouTube reviews.
Some additional features are a headphone jack, a second tripod socket for vertical shooting, and wireless streaming straight to Canon’s Live Switcher app. The new 14-30mm power zoom lens pairs well, letting you adjust zoom speed for smooth shots. The EOS R50 V lands in April at $649 (body-only) or $849 with the new power zoom lens.
