The Latest Fujifilm Rumours

Good news for Fujifilm fans, it now looks like the X-T6 will arrive in November 2026, giving us a new launch window after the camera’s original September 4 announcement was postponed. For a while, that delay left open the possibility that Fujifilm might push the X-T6 all the way into 2027, but the latest information suggests we won’t have to wait quite that long.
We are also getting another look at the X-T6 itself, following the detailed sketches of the front and rear of the camera that already leaked a few days ago. Those drawings showed a few smaller changes to the body and controls, and now another sketch, which you can see up top, has surfaced showing the X-T6 from above. One of the more noticeable changes appears to be around the physical controls, with Fujifilm apparently making the top dials slightly more recessed into the body, which should make them easier to operate with your thumb.
And the X-T6 might not arrive alone. Fujifilm is also rumoured to unveil a new Fujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8 MK II in November, with the second-generation telephoto zoom expected to be considerably smaller than the current lens. In fact, reports suggest it could be compact enough that Fujifilm has removed the tripod collar entirely. Exact dimensions have not leaked yet, although a reduction somewhere around one-third has been suggested based on the size difference Fujifilm achieved with the newer XF 16-55mm f/2.8.
