Fujifilm very recently dropped the new Instax mini 41, a follow-up to the popular mini 40, and it comes with a few thoughtful upgrades. The big one? A better close-up mode with parallax correction, so your detail shots are more centered and less guesswork. It still has the built-in selfie mirror, but now it actually adjusts what you see in the frame.

Design-wise, it’s still rocking that retro vibe, but with a softer, more modern twist — think a textured body for better grip, orange accents, and a subtle metallic-like finish. Definitely feels more current without losing that Instax charm. It’s still super beginner-friendly, with auto exposure that adjusts settings on its own, so you can just point and shoot. The mini 41 works with all the usual Instax mini film, including the ones with monochrome looks.

It’ll be out by the end of the month, but no word yet on pricing — probably waiting to see how tariffs shake out. If it’s anything like the mini 40, expect it to land around the $100 mark.
