Adobe is going all-in on AI, this time with an assistant built into creative tools to help you get stuff done faster and smarter. Think of it like a helpful sidekick in Photoshop or Premiere Pro that understands what you’re trying to do, offers suggestions, and can even take care of some of the grunt work for you.
Adobe says this isn’t about replacing creativity, but freeing you up to spend more time on the fun parts of the process. For example, imagine Photoshop spotting a distracting background element or a boring sky, and not just suggesting a fix — but doing it for you with one click (if you want). It’s already doing things like removing wires and people from shots with one tap. They’re also building this kind of smarts into Premiere Pro. Their new “Media Intelligence” feature can understand your footage and help you search clips with natural language.
All this is headed toward a more user-friendly, intuitive creative workflow — especially for beginners still finding their way around complex apps like Photoshop. We will get a closer look at Adobe’s first real “creative agent” later this month at Adobe MAX in London.
